Established in 1944, the park is a tropical paradise nested in the heart of the Redland District, just 35 miles south of Greater Miami. Surrounded by thousands
of acres of tropical agriculture, the park is a showcase for South Florida’s agricultural community. More than 500 varieties of exotic fruits, herbs, spices and nuts from throughout the world are found in this lush 35-acre park. Visit the herb and vegetable garden, stroll through a shady banana grove, or become more knowledgeable about poisonous plants. The only public garden of its kind in the U.S. Guided tours are conducted daily. Special tours can be arranged during the week for schools and groups. Admission is $5 per adult and $1.50 per child under 12. Picnic facilities are available. Open daily year-round 10 a.m.-5 p.m. except Christmas
